The Sephora Savings Event is in full swing, so I wanted to share some of my recommendations if you’re shopping! Some of these products I’ve had and used for years, others are newer finds that have quickly climbed to the top of my list.
Primers/Glow Drops
- Saie Glowy Super Gel (in the shade “Starglow”): I love this product for a really natural, “lit from within” look. I mix with my foundation or wear on its own!
- Iconic London Underglow Blurring Primer: I’ve tried many primers over the years and tend to not like how they feel. This one is nice because it’s lightweight, blurs out imperfections, and helps my makeup last all day.
Foundations
- It Cosmetics CC+ Illumination (in the shades “Fair/Light” or “Light”): An old favorite that I’ve recently started using again…and quickly wondered why I stopped in the first place!
- Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (in the shade “2”): I love this for “no makeup” days! It also mixes well with a tinted sunscreen or serum to add that little extra glow.
- Merit The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick (in the shade “Dune”): This is a good option if you prefer a complexion stick versus liquid foundation. It’s nicely buildable, so you can do light to medium coverage.
Blushes
- Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo (in the shade “She’s a Doll”): I love this duo, especially for traveling when I’m trying to limit how many products I bring.
- Merit Flush Balm (in the shade “Stockholm”): A longtime favorite balm blush. Stunning color and lasts all day.
- Tower28 BeautyGetSet Blur + Set Matte Powder Blush (in the shade “Felix Fresca”): The color payoff on these blushes is insane. A tiny dab will be plenty and will last all day.
- Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick (in the shade “Petal”): A newer find that has quickly joined the rotation. I love how natural the finish is and it’s very easy to blend in.
Bronzers
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Matte Bronzer (in the shade “Medium”): A longtime favorite that I keep going back to!
- Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Crème Contour & Powder Bronzer Duo (in the shade “She’s Sculpted”): Another great option for cutting down on number of products you reach for. Love that you can do contour + bronzing in one!
Eyeshadows
- Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Matte Eyeshadow Palette: It’s rare that I wear eyeshadow, but if I do, I’m using this palette 97% of the time.
- Tarte Quick Stick Waterproof Shadow & Liner (in the shade “Mauve Luster & Black Liner”): The other 3% of the time is using one of these! It’s convenient to have the shadow and liner together.
Mascaras
- Lancôme Lash Idôle Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara: I used this mascara for years and would still recommend it. I really like the applicator wand for a precise application – it lengthens and separates lashes beautifully!
- Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara: My most recent mascara obsession. Great for adding length and fullness and doesn’t cause any transfer to my eyelids or undereye.
Lips
- Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: Will. Not. Be. Without. This. Product.
- Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner (in the shade “Completely Sepia”): If I’m going for a bolder lipstick chaise for the day, like the Merit one linked below, I like to line my lips with this first.
- Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick (in the shades “02” and “44”): A staple in my bag for adding some moisture and natural-looking color!
- Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Satin Lipstick (in the shade “Baby”): Love the formula of these lipsticks – long-wear without feeling dry.
