I’ve been a reader for over 10 years now and I’ve noticed that within the last 1-2 years, this blog has become less and less of your focus. I understand that this is your job and the landscape has changed – most of your interaction (and consequently, income) is on Instagram now. But is the direction of blog to be weekly recaps of what you post on insta and your active codes?
I agree. There’s no CONVERSATION, it’s just a repeat of posts. Instagram has become a money grab, unfortunately.
The weekly recaps are meant to be a landing spot for all the information that is shared on social and expires after 24 hours 🙂
Hi! The nature of this business has definitely evolved over the years, and therefore how/where I spend my time has evolved too! I share the weekly recaps to have a landing spot for all the information in one place for those who want it. While the bulk of my time is now spent creating content for Instagram and my newsletter, I do have some posts in the pipeline for the blog, as well.
