Shows We’ve Recently Finished:
Dark Matter (Apple TV+)
Sci-fi is not a typical genre of show for us, but I read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed it! I’m actually surprised I even read the book since I am not a sci-fi girl, but it was great. When I saw that there was a show, I wanted to see how it compared to the book and jog my memory a bit on the plot line I knew. We both really enjoyed it!
Presumed Innocent (Apple TV+)
We had actually started the first episode and then realized that we would have to wait to watch it week-to-week, which we hate doing. We put pause on this show to watch Dark Matter and then came back to it. It’s probably one of the best shows we’ve watched in recent history – we both really, really enjoyed it. I saw that they will be coming out with a second season (following a different storyline), which we’re looking forward to
Married at First Sight, Season 15 (Netflix)
We’ve watched quite a few seasons of this show over the last few years. It’s our go-to when we’re in between more dramatic/heavy shows. Mike doesn’t get quite as into it as I do, but it’s a reality show that he will sit and watch with me most of the time. If you’ve never seen it and enjoy reality/dating shows, you will love it. It is absolutely wild that these people actually get married to a stranger!
Shows We’re Currently Watching:
Severance (Apple TV+)
This one came highly recommended on this post! Mike had actually started it a few months ago, but then stopped watching it, so we started it back up together. We’re only 2 episodes in, but very intrigued. It’s definitely different, but I have a feeling we will stick with it and enjoy watching it.
Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Chicago Bears (Max)
We’ve watched several seasons of Hard Knocks over the last couple of years and like them. Mike was particularly excited for this season since we grew up in Chicago and they have a new quarterback this year that everyone is excited for!
