I should start by sharing that I’m not much of a powder girl. I prefer a more dewy, glowy finish to my makeup, so I usually opt for liquids over powders. However, if I’m doing my makeup for a special event, like a wedding, I’ll add powder as a step to my routine. I like using powder to really lock in my foundation and concealer to make it last all day or all night.
Here’s a breakdown of some of my favorite powders that I’ve tried and used over the years:

my thoughts
I really like this for the summer months. Since I sweat more in the summer, having something that is easy to apply to not only reset whatever makeup I have on, but also add an extra layer of SPF is great! It’s easy to throw in your bag or suitcase to take on the go.
