In continuation of the Build Your Basics series for this year, let’s talk about contour and bronzer! This one is particularly fitting for right now as we’re heading into warmer weather and focusing on that sun kissed look for our skin. I wasn’t always a bronzer user, but now I can’t do my makeup without it. It helps to add dimension and shape to your face and really does make a difference! I don’t contour often, but like to focus my bronzing products in the hollows of my cheeks and along my hairline. I find that to be a subtle, but impactful placement for my bronzing products.

I always wear a hat in the sun and therefore my face is 1-2 shades lighter than my body after a tropical vacation. Would you suggest bronzer to deepen my color or a darker foundation? I’m never quite sure what the solution is…thank you!! 🙂
I like bronzer because I think it’s easier to blend for a natural finish than having a foundation that is the wrong color!
