If you follow along on Instagram, you know that we’ve been working on getting Liam’s “big boy” room setup for him! When my parents were here babysitting earlier this month, they painted the room in this beautiful grey-green color. I ordered him a twin-sized bed and matching nightstand and then we’re using a few other pieces of furniture that we already have to finish it out. It’s helpful for me to visualize a room with a mockup like this, especially when I’m ordering different pieces online and want to see how they will look together. I use Canva and it’s very easy!
Here’s my vision for the room:
Twin Bed // Nightstand // White Lamp // Dresser // Ceiling Fan // Floating Shelves // Boyhood Banner // Truck Prints // Mirror // Rattan Lamp // Roman Shades
Something that I love about his new room is that he will have plenty of space to play and store any of his toys that he doesn’t want the babies to get to. Since he’ll be about 3 years older than them, having a safe space for small things, like legos (if he takes an interest!), his marble run, and other things will be great! I love that he gets a special space that’s all his. It’s been fun to design this room for him and I can’t wait to see it all come together!
