A fresh roundup of some of the books I’ve read recently that I’ve enjoyed.
November 9 by Colleen Hoover
I think Verity kind of ruined Colleen Hoover for me because I loved that book so much. It’s one of those books that I think about from time to time and wish I could read for the first time again. That said, I’ve enjoyed the other books I’ve read by her, they’re just not the same. This one was good!
My rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5 stars)
Book Lovers by Emily Henry
I liked this one! I saw someone describe it as “a Hallmark movie in a book” and that is the perfect description. It’s light and feel-good, which is a nice break from my usual suspenseful/dark choices.
My rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5 stars)
Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score
This one was enjoyable to read, if not a bit predictable. It felt like a good vacation read – something that isn’t too heavy, but will keep your attention. I didn’t find myself itching to read it every night, which is usually my threshold for 4 stars!
My rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.75/4 stars)

I’m not quite halfway through this yet, but I am enjoying it! I’ve heard from many of you that it’s a bit unpredictable, which is something I love in books!
