Recent Target Haul: Sweaters & Cardigans

I found a few great sweaters for fall and winter on a recent Target trip. I like to stock my closet with a variety of options for the colder seasons. A cardigan or sweater is a great finishing piece to an outfit. It can instantly elevate and add interest to a simple outfit made up of jeans and a tee. Plus, living somewhere with a more mild fall season means that I can get a lot of use out of my sweaters as outerwear!

Here’s a look at what I grabbed:

Button-Front Jacket; $34.99

sizing: runs TTS; I’m in a small, which fits comfortably with a little room // styling: I’ll probably treat this as more of a jacket than a cardigan. I think it will be cute with jeans and a tee/long-sleeve and sneakers. I would also wear it like this with leggings. It has Free People vibes with a Target price!

Button-Front Cardigan; $27.99

sizing: fits a bit big; I’m in a small and there’s plenty of room // styling: this is one of those cardigans that you can wear a ton of ways. With shorts, jeans, dress pants, leggings, a dress – the options are almost endless! I like the casual fit, as it’s a bit looser, but that it isn’t overly slouchy. It’s soft and comfortable!

Open-Front Cardigan; $24.99

sizing: fits TTS; I’m in a small // styling: another classic cardigan to have in your closet. It’s lightweight, so it’s a great option to have as we’re transitioning into cooler weather. Can be dressed up or down or somewhere in between!

Camo Long Cardigan; $34.99

sizing: runs big; I’m in an XS and there’s room // styling: I’ll wear this one more casually, like this. It would also be cute with a pair of skinny jeans, a tee, and sneakers.

Open-Front Coatigan; $39.99

sizing: runs very big; I’m in an XS and there’s a ton of room — an XXS would be preferred. Size down 1-2 sizes from your typical. // styling: I’ll mostly use this for athleisure and casual outfits like this. Paired with leggings, casual tops, sneakers or cold-weather boots. It’s a nice cozy layer to utilize before you need a traditional coat when going outside. It’s soft and stretchy!

Striped Pullover Sweater; $25

sizing: fits TTS; I’m in a small and there’s room // styling: This one can be styled quite a few ways! It’s cute with leggings and sneakers, jeans and booties, and layered under a jacket. I feel like a striped sweater is a staple in the fall, so this one is a good one to have!
