Happy Friday! Was it a back to school week in your house? It feels like we’re on the cusp of the transition from summer to fall, whether or not the weather reflects it! We’ve got friends coming to visit for the weekend and I can’t wait! We have a fun night out planned for tomorrow night and a few other ideas, but are otherwise looking forward to just being together.
It’s right at this time in the summer when I get very antsy for fall. Fall decor and clothes come out in stores, September is knocking at our door, and I’m feeling the urge to purge our house. I did a big closet clean out earlier this week and it felt so good. If you’re also in need of a closet edit, this post may be helpful to you.
I started reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid this week. I’m only a couple chapters in, but I’m very interested! I’ve seen a lot of people share that it’s a good read, so I’m excited to keep going. I finally opened a Goodreads account, so I’m going to try to keep that as updated as possible.
I placed a big order for fall clothes for Liam from H&M earlier this week. I’ve found that their clothes are some of the best-fitting for him and they hold up well with lots of wear! I picked out some really cute things, so I’ll be sure to share them when they’re delivered.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is my favorite book so far this year. I recommended it to several people and thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook. The narrators are fabulous, especially Evelyn’s voice. Five star review!
Lastly, I’ve followed your blog for years as a result of your sister, Kate whom I also follow. It’s been fun to watch you grow and your life to unfold over the years. Keep up the inspiration, creativity and positivity. Although I’m in my early 50’s, I find your blog something I can relate to. You seem very down-to-earth and humble with a great sense of style!
