The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open to all cardholders today, then opening to everyone on the 28th. As I was browsing the items included in the sale, I saw that quite a few are the same of very similar items to things I’ve purchased in past years. This sale is a great time to purchase a pair of premium denim, some booties for fall, essentials (think bras, basic tees, black leggings), and a splurge item or two! It’s nice to get a good price on something that you know you’ll wear for the upcoming season. I’ve found that the items I purchase during the sale each year tend to be the items I wear most often during the following fall and winter.

As always, I encourage you to shop if you’re looking to replace a well-loved item with the new version, filling holes in your wardrobe, or want to invest in something that you know you’ll use time and time again.
