Coffee Table Books

Did you get sucked into the coffee table book craze from a few years ago? All of the sudden, it seemed, everyone was buying the same few books to display on their coffee tables or console tables! I definitely added a few to my apartment decor, at the time. While they may not be as trendy these days, beautiful books are a great way to add a decorative element to a surface or shelf. An added bonus comes if it’s a book you or a guest would actually like to flip through and read!

I usually buy digital copies of novels, so the only books we have around our house are books like this or Mike’s school materials. I love using larger books to create layers on a coffee table or console table. I also like to add in a book element into shelves for some height and variation in texture.
