Do you have a go-to breakfast that you make every Christmas morning? In years past, our Christmas morning has been spent at other places besides our own home. We switch off spending Christmas with Mike’s family and mine each year, so we don’t have a set tradition. We’ll be home this year, though, so I like the idea of starting a Christmas morning breakfast tradition! I love the idea of having things that Liam can count on every Christmas season, even down to what we eat on the morning of Christmas. Not only will that be something special to look forward to, but I love how sweet memories can be tied to things like food.
Since I know many of us will be having a different Christmas morning than years past, if you’re looking to make a yummy breakfast at home, here are some recipes worth checking out:
Cinnamon Rolls – these are so good!
Strawberries and Cream Buttermilk Waffles – you can’t ever go wrong with waffles and strawberries.
Sheet Pan Breakfast – I love that this can be customized to what you like!
Make-Ahead Breakfast Burritos – we LOVE these!
Twice Baked Breakfast Potatoes – adding this to my “must make” list immediately!
Easy Skillet Breakfast Potatoes – add some scrambled or fried eggs and you’re good to go!
If you have a favorite breakfast recipe, share it in the comments!
We make apple cider donuts every year. I make the dough the night before and all I have to do on Christmas morning is fry them up!
I always love finding new breakfast ideas! Treating ourselves to yummy breakfast is the best way to start the day. I want the cinnamon rolls right now haha!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! 🙂 x

We always spend Christmas morning at family’s as well, but we have the morning that we leave our house as our own little family Christmas morning. We’ve never had a special breakfast for it, but this year, we were making pancakes and my husband decided to put crushed peppermints in them like you would chocolate chips, and a new Christmas morning tradition was born. So delicious!
