Fall Walmart Finds and Try-On

I officially entered fall-shopping mode…I can’t be stopped! It may be a couple months before I can wear a chunky knit sweater comfortable, but that won’t stop me from stocking my closet with everything I’ll need for cooler weather.

While packing for our move in February, I realized that most of my fall and winter sweaters were pretty worn in. I hadn’t bought many that previous winter because I was pregnant for much of it, so I didn’t want to stock up on clothes that may not fit well the next year. I had a lot of sweaters from previous years that had been well-loved, so I ended up donating much of my collection. With not being pregnant this fall and winter, I’m looking to restock my sweater collection. There’s no better cool weather outfit to me than a cozy sweater, skinny jeans, and cute flats.

Here’s a look at some great options for the upcoming season from Walmart:

I ordered about half of these items and am so pleased with every single one of them! The items I got are comfortable, soft, and feel like they’ll hold up well with proper care! Here’s a look at what I’m keeping:

Snake Print Tee ($16) | Open-Front Cardigan ($19) | Jeans ($24.50)

This snake print tee is so soft and has a great drape. It comes in a 2-pack (with a winter white tee) for just $16! I’m wearing a small. These jeans were a surprise to me. I have this pair of boyfriend jeans from early last year that I like, so I figured I’d give these a shot – I love the distressing at the ankle! For a very budget-friendly pair of jeans, they’re comfortable, have a good wash, and fit well. I’m wearing my true size right now – consider sizing down, if between sizes. They have a lot of stretch! This open-front cardigan is something I ordered in three colors! I love something like this for lounging, throwing on with leggings and a tee, wearing over workout clothes, or styled up like this. I’m wearing a small.

Boyfriend Cardigan ($25)

Here’s a look at the boyfriend cardigan on! I’m wearing a small. It’s not itchy and I love the button detailing up the side. Super cute tucked in like this or worn as a traditional cardigan. It would also be cute with a pair of denim shorts and mules as a summer-fall transition outfit.

V-Neck Striped Sweater ($20)

Probably my favorite sweater of the bunch, this one is so cute and so soft. I’m wearing a small and it’s the perfect fit.

Mock Neck Sweater ($20)

I was surprised by how much I liked this sweater when I put it on! It’s super soft, fits well, and has fun details, like the subtle bell-sleeve. What I like most about it is that it’s very breathable, so I won’t get too hot in the mock neck style.

So, there you have it! Some great options from Walmart for transitioning into fall. I highly recommend checking out the Time and Tru and Dreamers By Debut collections – I’ve had the most luck with those, in terms of fit, quality, and longevity!

    Some great finds from WM. I ordered the bell sleeve sweater and agree that it’s fabulous. I also ordered the slip on sneakers in the snake print. They run a bit wide from the midsole back, but thicker socks or an insert might help. Though the first time I wore them (with socks), I got horrible heel blisters!!
