Happy Friday! I’m currently seated at the breakfast table in my parents’ house in South Carolina, sipping an iced coffee, while my sweet baby takes his morning nap. Life is pretty good right now! We came down here, along with my sister and her family, for a little end-of-summer, pre-back-to-school getaway. It’s been really nice to get a change of scenery and have a few extra hands to help out with Liam – although I miss him by the end of the day because he’s being held by everyone else!
If you follow Elisabeth Ashlie on Instagram, you know by now that we’re opening back up on Tuesday, the 18th! After about 3.5 months of maternity leave from EA, I’m looking forward to opening back up and getting back into the swing of things ahead of the holiday season! Figuring out my work schedule is a continuous work in progress, so I’m curious to see how the transition will go. I’m hopeful that it will be relatively smooth!
Are you shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? I snagged a few items that I had my eye on (on my day to shop) and am excited to get them in. I’m so anxious for the weather to cool down, so that I can wear fall clothes and layers again! If you are planning to browse or shop the sale when “public access” opens, I’ve got a post for you!
I’ve started re-watching New Girl (on Netflix) again! It’s one of those shows that gets more funny every time you watch it. It’s nice to have a light and humorous distraction at the end of the day!
I’m itching to change up some decor in our home already. This usually happens to me with the changing of the seasons, so I’m not surprised! I’d love a new dresser for our bedroom, a couple new rugs for various rooms, and to put the finishing touches on my office. We’ll see what I actually get around to, though.
I just saw that our Nespresso machine is on sale for $189! We’ve been getting a ton of use out of it – no more trips to Starbucks!
