I’m showing you around our dining room today! This was one room in our new house that I didn’t need to buy a single piece of furniture for. In fact, the only thing I purchased for the room was the lamp on the sideboard and some art that has since been hung on the wall above the bar cart. Everything else was previously owned and used in our townhouse in Virginia. While we won’t be using this formal dining space often, I do love that we have a place to gather with family and friends, should the occasion arise. 98% of our eating is done around our kitchen island (we can fit 5, which is great!), but I still like to have this room purposed as a dining room for whenever we need to fit more people. I love the mix of the more rustic dining set and existing light fixture with the modern design of the wall mirror and the wall planters. Take a look around!

Tell me more about those planters on the wall. They’re lovely. Are they real plants? Did it all come together in a set?
Plants are from a variety of places – Ikea, Home Goods, and Hobby Lobby!
Hey Lauren! Beautiful space. What is on the cheese board?
Thanks! Coasters and a wine bottle holder.
Beautiful! Do you have any paint color details? We just bought a house (new construction) and it’s builder flat white EVERYWHERE. Picking colors is so hard!
I don’t, sorry!
What is the paint color on your was?
Not sure, sorry!
