We’re in that in-between season where we can’t quite rely on the spring weather, but most of us are reaching for a lighter color palette and some spring-like items. One of my favorite kinds of tops for this type of weather is a thermal top. Styled correctly, it doesn’t have to be a winter-exclusive item! I’ve got a couple different thermal tops that I wear regularly in my closet. I like them because they can be very transitional – from super casual with joggers, to dressed up with a moto jacket. There are definitely options! Let’s take a look at a few different ways so wear a thermal top.
Casual Chic
For some, a thermal top like this will only make sense in a casual setting. Paired with joggers or leggings, sneakers, and a couple simple accessories, you can build an outfit that is both comfortable and appropriate for a grocery run, travel, or a trip to the park with your kids.

Weekend Wear
If you like the idea of dressing your thermal top up a bit, an easy way to do that is pair it with a pretty bralette and a pointed toe shoe. I like the idea of keeping the outfit mostly casual, with ripped jeans and a simple gold necklaces. If you need a top layer, adding a structured jacket or sweater blazer are both good options.

Date Night
If. you want to take your cozy top out on the town for date night, grab your favorite heeled booties and moto jacket and you’re good to go! I would add a pop of color with my bag and lipstick to make the entire outfit look very intentional. A front tuck into a pair of high-waisted jeans would also work well to dress this top up at bit.
