Hello and Happy Friday to you! We’ve got a pretty low-key weekend planned, which sounds great to me. Starting next weekend, we’ve got back to back full weekends and then we’re into November and then we’re into the holidays and then it’s 2020…that escalated quickly. Moral of the story, I’ll take whatever downtime on the weekends I can get!
LOFT is having a friends & family sale this weekend, which means 40% off your order! Sharing some of my favorites here.
I may have found a suspense/thriller novel that’s too dark for me, which is saying something because I have a pretty high threshold for things like that. I’m trying to get through Find Her, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish.
Elisabeth Ashlie is having a fall sale this weekend! You can save 20% on your order with code HOORAY. Some of my most-worn items recently are the Bali Tassel Earrings, the Sunset Necklace, and the Shimmer Bracelet Set. It’s never too early to start shopping for holiday gifts, hint hint.
I gave myself a fresh manicure last night using one of my favorite blue-grey shades, Showroom for One. I’ve got an upcoming blog post with my favorite nail colors for fall, as well as sharing everything I use for an at-home manicure (I’ve been to the nail salon probably 3 times in the last 3 years).
Have a great weekend!
I am shocked that you found a book that might be too dark! I am going to pick it up at the local library to give it a try. It sounds interesting!
Coffee Conversations is my favorite part of your blog, I enjoy learning personal details as well as business! I would love if you mixed in a little more about YOU (the woman behind it all).
Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Jeana!
I can’t read Lisa Gardner, just too dark and disturbing! I’ve found the same with many of Karin Slaughters novels. I need a little more story to go along with the crime!
Have you read Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter? It is probably the darkest novel I’ve read yet, and I did finish it but it was rough! I loved it though!
I haven’t – thanks for the heads up!
