With every change of the seasons, I find myself wanting to switch up the decor in our house. Not necessarily buying a ton of new things and starting over, more like moving things around, replacing any old decor pieces that I don’t like anymore, and “shopping” in my own stash of unused things in our storage room.
It has taken me years to figure out my “home” style, and it’s still evolving – I think it always will be! I have come to learn that I prefer clean lines and more modern shapes. I don’t like anything too antique or rustic, and I like to have a little bit of a mix of things – some mid-century, some transitional, some boho. Decorating in a few categories makes it super easy for me to move things around the house when I’m itching for a change!
The easiest ways to make a change in a room: plants, pillows, and wall decor. Changing any or all of those things can completely transform the look and feel of any room!
