You may have seen by now that leopard print is everywhere for fall! No matter what store I’ve gone into or shopped online with, there’s always leopard print something in the “new arrivals” section. I’m not a huge leopard girl, but I do think it’s a fun way to mix up a fairly neutral wardrobe! In case you’re looking to get in on the trend but don’t really know how you’d wear the skirt, I’ve got three ideas for you!
My exact skirt is sold out from J.Crew Factory, but I’ve found a few similar options: this one, this one, this one, and this one.
Casual Chic
This option will probably be out of the comfort zone for some of you, but I want to encourage you to try it! A graphic tee and sneakers with a skirt like this is a fun way to mix it up and make this skirt feel very versatile in your closet. If you’re stuck feeling like you can only wear it dressed up, the chances are that you may not wear it very often. Choosing a simple graphic tee (or just a plain tee – doesn’t need to have anything on it) with some low-profile sneakers and a pop of color is a chic way to make a skirt like this more daytime friendly.

Date Night
The easiest styling for this skirt is definitely a date night option – dress it up as you normally would! Since the print on the skirt does enough talking on its own, I just added a lace trim cami and some simple wedge sandals. You could also do a pop of color in your top, like a pretty rose pink or rich green.

Weekend Wear
This styling is my favorite of the bunch because it’s somewhere in the middle between casual and fancy! I paired the skirt with a ribbed sweater tank to downplay the dressiness, and then grabbed some pointed toe booties to add a little western feel. If you’re into the belt bag trend, this is a great way to incorporate one because the skirt has a built in band that it fits perfectly over. I would totally wear this for a day visiting wineries with friends or a girls night out!

And here’s the styling video:
I love all three of these, but the weekend style is my favorite! I’d totally wear that.
