Happy weekend! We’ve got a very low-key weekend planned, which I’m excited about! Our yard could use a bit of attention and I’m hoping to do some de-cluttering around the house, but that’s about it. This is one of our only weekends in August that we don’t have anything on the agenda, so I’m planning to take full advantage of it.
Now that we’re into August, my brain is slowly starting to make the shift out of summer and into fall. I can’t make that shift too quickly, because we still have about two full months of proper summer weather here, but I can feel myself ready for the change. I feel like I’ve worn through my summer clothes pretty well and am ready for a change there, plus I just love how cozy things get in the cooler weather.
Did you catch my most recent manicure? I truly couldn’t decide on a color and love this for when I want to switch things p a bit!
I saw my sister wearing this tee yesterday and promptly ordered it! I love a graphic tee, but am usually quite picky about what the graphic is. I love that this is neutral and fun!
I wish we had a place for this light fixture in our house! And these would be so fun around a little breakfast table in a modern home.
I popped into the mall yesterday to do a couple returns and ended up getting this sweatshirt in this fun leopard print. It’s super soft and a great piece for lounging around the house in.
I’m all caught up on all of my podcasts and it’s weird! I usually have a few in the queue that I’m listening to, so to be caught up is strange. I need to do a little digging to find one with a lot of episodes that I can binge listen to. If you need any podcast recommendations, I’ve got a whole list here!
Have a great weekend!
I recently started listening to Trashy Divorces and it combines all my love of history (Queen Mary of Scotts, Hemmingwag, F. Scott Fitzgerald) trash celebrity gossip (Brad/Jen/Angie, Sonny and Cher etc). Super well researched, funny and each episode is a stand alone so you can skip around to the people you’re interested in.
That sounds interesting – thanks for the recommendation!
I love that chandelier! Walmart is killing it with their products these days! Also, my favorite podcasts recently have been The Popcast, Go and Tell Gals and That Sounds Fun (her enneagram summer series was amazing!)
Have a great weekend, xo!

Thanks, Colleen! I’ve heard good things about the Popcast – may have to give it a listen!
That tee from Anthro is so cute! I love a good graphic tee and I like how cheeky and minimalistic it is!
That’s what I love about it, too!
