I’m excited to share four different ways to style a simple dress with you! Throughout this series, I’ve shared three ways per item, but had to throw in a fourth for this particular dress. I’ve had this dress for a couple years now and it’s great! It’s flattering, comfortable, and really transitional – can be dressed up or down with ease. And, as we all know, I LOVE an item that can be styled multiple ways. I get a lot more use out of the item and I’m able to get more creative with how I wear it.
Casual Chic
I think this first option is my favorite! I love that it transforms the dress by making it look like a skirt. It’s a great way to dress down, but still feel stylish and pulled together. You could do any type of tee with it, but I’m partial to a good graphic tee!

Date Night
A really simple option for date night is to just throw a lightweight kimono on over your dress. You could easily pair this with wedges or espadrilles for more of a dressed up look, too!

Weekend Wear
The simplest option with a dress like this – add a denim jacket around your waist (in case you get cold!) and some interest in your shoes. I went with these perforated mules to add a little sophistication to the outfit without making it feel fussy.

Weekend Wear, Option #2
A second casual option would be to add a field vest over the dress. I like that this option adds the interest of another layer without taking the focus away from the dress!
