I survived my first official day back to work with Elisabeth Ashlie yesterday! It felt so dang good to get back to it and see how excited you all were to have me re-open. I have a pile of work ahead of me next week, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My in-laws are in town this weekend, so we’re planning on spending some time with them. I’m hoping to be outside to enjoy the cooler Autumn temps! I’m also hoping to do some apple picking soon, too. There’s nothing like welcoming in Fall than with an apple cider donut and a peck of fresh apples.
If you’re in the market for a great book, I highly recommend this one. It’s not in my usual genre (I don’t typically pick sci-fi things), but this one is so intriguing. Every night, I get to the point of nearly falling asleep before I’m able to actually put my iPad down and close my eyes.
