Summer Neutrals

I’m a neutrals girl, through and through. We all know this. So, it makes sense that my favorite outfit would be made up completely of neutrals. Summer, to me, is the season of COLOR. I feel like everyone is happy to be outside again, so they like to wear their feelings with bright hues, bold patterns, and fun details. Meanwhile, I’m over here like, “wait…is that blush pink? Oh, I can’t. Too bright.”
Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but you get it
These wrap cardigans have been the most-worn items in my closet in the last couple months, by far. I’m actually a little bummed by the 90º weather we’ve been having because it means I can’t wear one outside.

Alas, before I know it, it will be 50º again and all will feel right (and not sweaty) in my world again.

Have you seen a less expensive option for the cardigan around?

I haven't really been looking, but you may be able to find something at a Marshall's/TJ Maxx!

Begin preparing yourself for the Northern Virginia weather! My husband & I grew up in Milwaukee & now live in Northern Virginia. Most of the summer (& summer here can mean from May until September/October!) is in the 90s & humid. I'm a cold weather gal & it's going to be a long while until we see the 50s again! I would also say by Milwaukee standards, we don't have much of a winter here.
