I’ve officially climbed out of the deep, dark hole that was “holiday time”. YOU GUYS, it was crazy. The 3-ish weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas had me working 12-16 hour days, working on weekends, and overall wanting to pull my hair out. But, everything was accomplished, shipped, wrapped up, and complete by the end of it, by some miracle. I took a break from 12/20 to the end of the year and it was pretty perfect. I even felt bored, which was something I hadn’t felt in awhile.
But, now I’m back! And it feels good! I’m looking forward to being able to share more outfits, lifestyle, and beauty things on the ole’ blog and get into a routine with posting! #newyearsresolution
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that my goal for this year is not one that requires action, but the opposite. It’s easy for me to get sucked into multi-tasking, to have my phone in my hands at all times, and to generally think about myself. However, this year I’m making a conscious effort to be present. Many a change will be coming in 2017 (#gettingmarried), so I want to make sure that I’m soaking in everything this year has to offer. To be intentional in my relationships, business, and even my “down time”. It won’t be easy, but it’s something that I need to focus on, so I’m hoping I can!
Other than that, I typically have general goals for the year – to read more and watch less, to eat healthy (save for the occasional weekly pizza delivery), and to keep up my workout routine. I want to be more patient with my 1 and 2.5 year old, and I also want to do daily devotional (I was so good about that in 2015 and not last year).

It's not the most original goal, but this year I want to take better care of myself. Be more active, lose weight, eat healthier, treat my skin better. I want to feel better about myself.
My main goal for the year is to practice gratitude daily. I think we all get too caught up and just assume that others know we're grateful for them but for me at least, I need to be way more intentional with my gratitude.
