Autumn: the time of year where you can pair cutoff’s with booties and a sweater
(aka the BEST TIME OF THE YEAR)
Seriously, I love this season. These booties were a DSW score that I’m pretty proud of – I’ve already worn them several times and can tell that they will be a staple in my Fall wardrobe.
My sweater stockpile is slowly coming out of hibernating! I like pairing shorts with a sweater for a couple reasons, not the least of which is that I tend to be a top-heavy cold person. As in, if I’m cold, I can likely remedy the situation by putting on a sweater or a jacket, versus a pair of pants. So, sweaters it is! There’s just the slightest chill in the shade these days, so this is the perfect combination outfit for being outside.

I envy your Autumn. Fall here is wet, and cold. Sweaters are always on. And shorts are most definitely not an option.
