you’re probably well aware of this already, but tomorrow marks the first day of DECEMBER. WHAT.  i’m anticipating a rather full month, so i’m not sure if i want it to begin, or could use another week of November. either way, i’m fairly certain the calendar won’t stop moving for me, so it’s happening and i’m coping. 

with the official start of December comes holiday parties, festive gatherings, and an all around Christmas-like feel wherever i seem to go. Mike and i ventured to Lincoln Park Zoo over the weekend to take in all of the Christmas lights that they display around the area, which promptly got me in the mood for hot cocoa, gift-wrapping, and tree trimming. Christmas music has been playing, and holiday party outfits have been thought-through, including something real similar to this. i’m not much of a dress/skirt wearer, so my go-to is a dressy top, fancy heels, and statement jewels with my favorite pair of pants. i like the more casual look of the pants with some rips and the tassel on the bag to balance the dressed up heels and coat.
