Workspace Essentials

one | a daytime planner and organizer, russell + hazel
something that is really important for me to stay organized and on top of things is having a planner and organizer. what i love most about this one is that i can easily toss it in my purse for days that i’m using Starbucks as my office or for when i’m traveling. that way, i never miss a thing and always have my editorial calendar and deadlines with me. also included in my binder is plain paper for blog post ideas, to do lists, shopping lists, and other things i need to write down.
two | chic accessories, anthropologie
i have a fairly large desktop area, so i’m able to have items on my desk that are both functional and decorative. i use washi tape for the wrapping of my jewelry in outgoing orders, and the lucite tape dispenser is the perfect item for my desk. it fits two rolls of washi tape and looks cute, too!
three | sticky notes, knock knock
i’m constantly writing notes about reminders, to do’s, etc. and sticking them at the base of my desktop computer. i figure that if i’m going to have sticky notes all over the place, they may as well be cute, right?
four | a multifunctional mousepad, anthropologie
this weekly calendar mousepad is one of my favorites. it’s pretty, functional, and allows me to stay on top of my editorial calendar, important dates, and any other obligations during the week.
five | stationery, minted
there’s something to say for a handwritten note, either received or sent. i often include notes in packages to family and customers, so i have a pretty large collection of different cards and paper.
six | storage, target
of course, plenty of storage is essential for me to stay organized and decluttered. what i like about these wire bins is that they can be placed on a surface or they can easily be hung on the wall as an alternate option. mine holds all of my outgoing orders from Elisabeth Ashlie that need to be dropped in the mail.
other items:
candles, lip balm, endless cups of coffee, and plenty of cat hair.

I love the knock knock products, sometimes they just have the best sense of humor 🙂
