spring pastels

i’ve always loved pastels. something about their softness and how easy they are on the eyes just makes me want to wear them all the time.

i bought this skirt at the j crew outlet last year in two different colors and, because of my newfound joy for running, they no longer fit. it’s always a slightly depressing day when i discover that something doesn’t fit anymore, whether it’s too big or too small. thankfully, j crew is carrying these skirts again this year, so i was able to get this beautiful minty aqua color.

i’m realizing that my eye automatically goes to any soft, pastel color in stores these days. mint, lavender, soft yellow, heather grey, light pink. they just suck me in.
